PRETTY DAISIES TUTORIAL
MY NOVEMBER PROJECT 2015
DEAR FRIENDS, I HAVE SEEN THESE DAISIES, AND I HAD TO MAKE THEM... I FOUND THE WHOLE EXPLANATION BY CROCHETGIRL99 IN INSTAGRAM, SO IT IS NOT IN A BLOG, AND I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THEM FOR SHARING WITH US.. IT SEEM THAT THIS GROUP IS FROM AUSTRALIA, SO THANK YOU AUSTRALIA..
Okay, here's a bit of a photo tutorIal for the "Pretty Daisies in a Row" method. I have used a 3.5mm hook and instructions are in UK terms. You start off with making as many circles as you think you will need. I only used 5 for my cushion . I have used half trebles as my circles but you could use dc or tr for your circles. Whatever works best for you.
Magic circle, ch 1, 7 half trebles into ring, ss into first half treble made (counts as eight half trebles)
1. Grab your first circle and join new colour with a slip stitch into any half treble, ch 2, 2 treble in same stitch (1 petal made). 2. 3 treble in next stitch and repeat another two times (4 petals made). Chain 1.
3. Grab your next circle and complete the first petal.
4. Complete another 3 times until you have four petal groups on the top half of the circle. Chain 1. 2w
3. Grab your next circle and complete the first petal.
4. Complete another 3 times until you have four petal groups on the top half of the circle. Chain 1. 2w
1. Carry on until you get to the last circle. Make 8 petals in your last circle as shown.
2. When you have completed the 8th petal in your end circle, make a double crochet in the chain space and then carry on with your petals in the next flower. (Note, you could try a slip stitch in the chain but I think a dc is stronger). 3. You will end up with a strip of flower discs that look like this. 2w
2. When you have completed the 8th petal in your end circle, make a double crochet in the chain space and then carry on with your petals in the next flower. (Note, you could try a slip stitch in the chain but I think a dc is stronger). 3. You will end up with a strip of flower discs that look like this. 2w

Next comes the stitches to turn your flower discs into daisies. At the top of the first flower, join yarn in between 2 petals, ch 1 and 2 dc in same space. Ch 1, 2 treble in between next two petals of same flower. Ch 1, 2 treble in between petals of next flower. Ch 1, 2 dc in between next two petals. Ch 1, 2 treble in between next two petals, repeat to the end. 2. When you get to your last flower, the corner is made by crocheting 2 treble, ch 1, 2 treble in same space. Ch 1, 2 dc in between next two petals, chain 1, then make another corner. Carry on as previous to complete the bottom half of the row. 2w
Hope instructions are clear enough. I really enjoy making the flowers this way and it will lend itself useful in so many ways, scarves, trims to dresses and skirts etc.

MY MARGUERITE BLUE BAG
HERE IS A PROJECT THAT I LOVE TO DO.... TO PLAY WITH COLOURS,.
HERE ,YOU HAVE TO LEARN TO USE 2 YARNS IN THE SAME TIME, (BUT NOT DIFFICULT,) DO 4 GRANNY SQUARES AND JOIN THEM TOGETHER.
AS THE BLUE IS ON FASHION I DECIDED TO DO A BLUE BAG WITH WHITE MARGUERITES.
THE EFFECT IS STUNNING, AND I AM USING IT WITH PLEASURE...
HAVE A GREAT WEEK
MURIEL
